Software update

Q: How do I update energyXT when there is a new version available?

Starting from energyXT 2.5.2 there is a check for update feature built-in. Click the help (or XT) menu, then click "Check for update...". You may also download updates manually from this page.

Audio and soundcard setup

Q: Im trying to record audio, but there are no available audio inputs in setup window?

On windows, ASIO drivers are needed for (multi-track) recording. Please install the ASIO drivers that comes with your soundcard. You may also install the universal ASIO4ALL drivers, which work with any soundcard on windows.

Q: How do I get Jack support in energyXT?

License and activation

Q: How much is the upgrade fee to version 2.5?

energyXT 2.5 is free for all registered energyXT users. To unlock energyXT 2.5 just copy your license key file into the same folder as energyXT 2.5. If you have any trouble activating, contact us via our support form and we will sort it out.

Q: When I enter the serial number on my Mac, the application aborts

Make sure to copy the energyXT folder from the dmg (Disk image file) into your Applications folder on your Mac. Then go to your Applications folder, and then the energyXT folder and launch energyXT from there. Enter serial should now work.

Q: I purchased a license online, but didnt receive it yet.

We send out the license as email attachment, so please check first if the license ended up in your spam box. If not, please contact us via our support form and we will sort it out.

Q: Can I register energyXT version 1.4 with the xt.lck license used by energyXT2.0?

Yes, make a copy of xt.lck and rename it to massiva.key. In energyXT 1.4, right-click in main window and select 'Install license' from the popup menu, select the massiva.key and click OK.

Q: Can I transfer my license of energyXT 2.5?

Yes, send us the name and email address of the new buyer via our to contact form and you will receive information on how to proceed.
